ExactData has no product integrity. Lists are NOT what the sales people tell you they are.

They're outdated and the lists are stacked with multiple contacts that are not in the target. Pass the word along.

It won't be long until they're out of business. I reported them to the National Direct Marketers Association as "STAY AWAY."

AVOID THEM. Horrible company.

I wish I could give negative stars. Scammed me and blocked my refund. This company gave me 10,000 phone numbers and addresses for potential foreclosure clients. I sent out 500 letters.

I got 25% return to sender and at least 25% of the people called me cursing me out and threatening my very successful and honorable business. I had to apologize too many times.

Not one person was in foreclosure. The list was fake after many promises from this fake company.

I suggest you Stay Far-Far Away from this company!

I paid them over $5000 to send 44,000 emails to a list of companies they provided. The result: Over 99% of the clicks to our web site were from just a small handful of IP addresses - which is not normal!

Plus almost all traffic to our site immediately bounced. These replies were totally NOT normal responses that we would expect to see.

I provided Michael and others at Exact Data with log files showing details of the suspect traffic and common IP address, which they said did not prove anything. We tried to get a refund and was ignored.

Promises are all you'll get with this company!

Their list is outdated. Has emails that have been canceled years ago and DOES NOT have emails that have been in use for years.

This company sold a mailing list to us for over $700.00 which wound up in a basement of the company we tried to do business with because none of the employees on the mailing list existed.

When we called Exact Data to discuss a refund we were double-talked and told we were issued a refund case number which also did not exist when we checked on it twice with other company departments. Both of the men we talked to were senior level executives.

We have since discovered that the company also has many complaints from former employees.

We intend to contact their local consumer protection agency and state attorney generals office.

Promised the Moon and delivered Junk Data. Example: From a purchased list of 5000 contacts that they say they obtained in the last 30 days, the 1 lead we got said 7 to 8 years ago.

Contacted to complain: salesman left the company, deflected my complaint with no offer to compensate.

Anyone up for a Mass Action Lawsuit?

Purchased 1000 leads as a trial, 20% were bad! When I asked to replace the 200 bad ones was told I would have to purchase the $500.00 plan and they would add 200 to it!

So I have purchase more to get what I paid for the first time! No way.

Zero stars. Total scam.

The worst list I have ever worked! The price was cheap and now I know why- the data was so bad, I spent days trying to make contact with a any person on the list! When I was lucky enough to get a live person, they never heard of the name on the list or many times was not the right company at all. Do not deal with this company.

They will make you look bad to your prospects and boss. #exactdatasucks

We purchased a list from Exact Data and well over 1/4 of the list was garbage. They agreed.

Then because the company switched bank accounts, they said they would only refund the money to the original bank. We requested them to send a check. They refused. So my suggestion to any business looking at purchasing a list from Exact Data: Don't unless you don't care the accuracy of your list.

They promise great results and we got 0.001% responses.... keep that in mind when you buy from them.

I can't believe they call themselves exact data. They gave us absolutely garbage data.

And forget about getting any refund or even a response from them. Once the charge is on the credit card, you are screwed.

They didn’t give me the leads that I requested. I disputed the charge with the bank and they were fighting it.

I will be contacting my lawyer about this firm.

Do not use them, absolute rip off.

I spent $600 for around 6000 leads.

If you are thinking about going with this company. Please take all of the negative 1 stars advice and do not do business with this company.

The salesmen will completely lie to you and tell you that they will give you those exact leads that you desire.

A classic bait and switch company of the worst kind. Promised me a list of 3,000 for our email campaign.

Sample list they sent me of 5 customers was gold. The actual list received of 3,000 had less than 350 actual clients that fit the target audience we agreed upon. Over 60% of those emails bounced. They sent me a second list that was even farther away from the target list we needed.

They are not interested in working this out.

No useable list...no refund.. Buyer beware...
