THey will never stop calling you
Stay away. you can ask them to put you on their do not call list and they will simply tell you that they do not have a do not call list.
their prices are way more than their competitors - negotiate them down.
they typically have a woman do the initial call then she'll put on the phone a dude that's a meat head who proceeds to tell you what you want regardless of what you've asked for.
Won't ever use them again
I requested contacts with direct dial info in a defined zip code with an employee count between 50-150 employees.
I received next to no direct dials and over half the contacts were from Fortune 500 companies.
Buyer beware and don't getted fooled like I was.
They are the worst
i ordered email list of 500 potential client. Of the 500, 100 were from states i did not need and over 125 leads came back as non deliverable.
I emailed and called and was told that the order was as i asked for which is not true as they showed me an email order.
However, i ordered my desires via phone.
They told me as long as 75% of leads are accurate they have fulfilled their obligation and nothing they can do about it.
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! THEY ARE TERRIBLE AND HAVE ZERO PROFESSIONAL COURTESY.
Do not even call them.
They will not stop calling you. When you ask them to put you on the Do Not Call list they say they do not have a do not call list.

Price quote
Dan Duggan gave a price quote of 500 for two apartments complex and called to follow up . I told him 500 for two apartment is out of my budget, he asked how much is it $20 or how much.
I said 100 and he talked rude and hang up on me before I reply. He claims to be a president of marketing department. if people with zero customer skills are leaders in marketing can you imagine how good a customers requirements will be taken care. I called this guy back n he didn't pick.
so bad and cheap minset. don't call them they are not worth talking
Exact Data = Fraud
We were spammed by Anthony Bosniack and Amir Patel who work for a company called Exact Data who solicited us by email to purchase a list of leads from them. I knew that most of these companies where scams and usually nothing good comes from these types of emails, but we decided to roll the dice and try it out. We hedged our bets a bit and just purchased a very small sample list of leads from Exact Data for $750 before we purchased the package they were pitching us at just north of $12,000.
My reasoning for doing this was I was very skeptical of just how up-to-date and current the contacts would be. I was very skeptical of what the individuals we were dealing with whose names were Anthony Bosniack and Amir Patel (Divisional Manager’s) and the way he talked with such certainty on how they guaranteed a delivery rate of 90% of all their leads. I told him that I was going to check the leads for accuracy and that was the reason for purchasing the smaller sample list.
I researched a total of 50 leads from the list we had procured which was mostly comprised of public colleges and universities. One of the reasons I wanted this vertical is because I knew that most publicly funded universities posted their email contact info of the types of C-level individuals we normally did business with on their website, so I could relatively easily verify their accuracy. Of the 65 I looked up only 19 were correct!
Since I discovered this I immediately asked for a refund. The way that Anthony Bosniack and Amir Patel responded really surprised me. They never apologized for this they just attacked me. It was as If this happens so much that they have a script that they work from with objection rebuttals to deal with unhappy clients that feel like they got ripped off.
He now is saying that even though it is mathematically impossible for Exact Data to meet the criteria they promised with the leads we purchased having a 90% deliverability rate after my research. Anthony Bosniack is now saying that I need to furnish him with a report listing all the email addresses that hard bounce and he will give me a credit towards more leads. Why would I want more bad leads??
After doing more research on Exact Data I found them on scam advisor and rip-off report and loads of bad reviews. I should have looked them up better beforehand. Buyer beware these guys are sales sharks that will say anything to get you money.

They're not honest
Exact Data is anything but exact! They saddle you little catches to justify the *** lists they supply.
Terms like "Emails when available" particularly when they know you're doing an email campaign. They give you a list, charge you for it then tell you it doesn't have many email addresses because they're "when available."
I bought a list of 8000 names for the purpose of doing an email campaign. The list only had 99 email addresses. I went into explicit detail about my campaign even to ask the sales rep, Rafat, to scan them to make sure they fit my criteria.
He assured me he did but he didn't tell me how few there were.
Their excuse was, "it hard to get email addresses in my category." Really??
Should have just said so and I'd find another source. The list is worthless, just like Exact Data.
Worthless info sent
I bought 6500 email addresses that they guaranteed would all be valid and even offered to replace the ones that came back invalid. I went back and forth with them on price and finally decided to do it.
I don't use a bulk email server and instead sent out independent emails one by one. After sending 18 of them, over half came back undeliverable. 3 were businesses that hadn't been in business for years. The biggest red flag was that there was a HUGE percentage of @***.com addresses which I haven't seen in decades.
I contacted them for a refund, they said that if I could show an undeliverable rate of over 10% they would happily refund me. I sent out an email blast and 15% of them came back undeliverable. I sent Matt Waechter matt.waechter@***.com a screen shot of the 15% rate. He never responded.
4 more emails and 2 voicemails later he still hasn't responded.
I now have to go through the 90 day chargeback process because Matt refuses to uphold his end of the deal. Do yourself a favor and don't do business with Exactdata!

Great to work with
There was a time 5+ years ago where I can see a marginal review might be warranted, however, I work with multiple people at Exact and they are fabulous. If you are not familiar with working with data then you need to spend some time getting familiar with the nuances. Contact information has a shelf life, often very short, and in the case of education data the attrition rate hovers around 20% annually. If your expectations are to have 95-100% accuracy you should consider ducking out of your marketing position. Once you are armed with some knowledge then take a dip in the pool. The water is warm. ED is a good company to work with.

Verified ReviewerThe worst service..SAVE UR MONEY...STAY AWAY
They charged me 2800 dollars and was told i will get a good response...GUESS WHAT..NOT ONE...ZERO....They were awful. They did a test and the email they sent me went to my junk mail...i should have known them. Then the manager Ali did nothing...This place is a scam
More like Scam Data
These people are scam artists...wait no, saying "artists" gives them too much credit. Michael and Dan. These were the people who didn't so much as give me a reply email after I laid it out for them.
I purchased a list of about 3,000 government officials - all of whom were already publicly available. I thought it would be a good investment to have Exact Data pull the phone numbers and emails from their database rather than have me or my staff take the time to go web site by web site, copying and pasting email and phone contacts.
Wow was the Exact Data list terrible.
Let me put it this way, out of a sampling of 36 names and phone numbers called, only 3 were accurate. 3. Some of the contacts here RETIRED FROM THEIR POSITIONS MORE THAN 6 YEARS AGO.
Michael and Dan - I'm still waiting for your reply. You sold me an inaccurate list of the easiest demographic of people you could have. Incredible and awful.
Michael, here's a tip - go back to insurance.
Time Consuming-No Results
The CEO called me and this is resolved I was impressed that he called and offered to refund or replace the Data.
Sales people are eager to sell- Client services do not deliver on sales promises.
VP's do listen either and once you are at that level their is not place to resolve the issues.
I found several other lists companies I think are reasonable and deliver.
I would run from Exact data. The web site and the reviews do not seem to be in alignment with good customer experience and the results were not there, poor data.

Terrible! A Waste of My TIME and MONEY
They had close to 16,000 email addresses for college students I wanted to target for an ad. I can't find anyone that received the emails and my $875 is gone!
I should have at least GOT ONE response out of 16,000 email! I also missed my target since this was a seasonal business and I lost out on this years business. Don't waste your time with Exact Data.
I thought these guys were legit because of the website and marketing. Don't fall for that.
They were also trying to hook me into three email campaigns to make sure we get to our target.
When you can't get at least one response out of 16,000 emails, something is wrong! Bad Data!
Ripoff and Contract that Allows No Refund
I purchased a list from Exact Data but what I received was not what my company ordered/not at what we agreed upon. The data is utterly unusable because of this.
Bottom line: I paid $750 for something. Exact Data provided me with completely unusable data. What they provided was not what we agreed to. I would like my money back.
Furthermore, Exact Data rips people off by pointing to a clause in their contract that is far too pro-them and screw the customer. The clause says, “All sales final,” and leaves little recourse for the many customers they rip off.
Efforts to work with Exact Data directly, with salesperson Stuart Love, went ignored, and again, the data provided failed to be what was agreed to in the contract, likely because they don’t have the data to fulfill the exact order, prompting them to fill in with unusable data. It’s telling that they have more than 65 BBB customer complaints leveled against them.
